On Thursday, March 5, Vulcan Park and Museum celebrated the five-year anniversary of the Park’s reopening to the public and unveiled two new exhibits that are now on view inside Vulcan Center Museum. Over 125 guests joined Vulcan on this special evening and enjoyed cocktails, champagne, hors d’oeuvres and light jazz as the sun was setting over Red Mountain. At 6 pm, a bright blue ribbon was cut and the new exhibits were officially unveiled. One exhibit highlights the deterioration and restoration of Birmingham’s beloved Vulcan and the other encourages visitors to explore Birmingham using state-of-the-art, multi-touch technologies.
