Birmingham beer lovers joined Free the Hops and the Autism Society of Alabama Junior Board on Friday, January 28, 2011 for Tapped: A Food & Beer Pairing. Ted’s Garage was filled with excitement as people tasted various Southeastern brews, sampled food by a few of Birmingham’s best restaurants, and listened to great live music by Livewire. Guests also bid on tickets to top Southeast Brewfests and other unique beer art. The event raised $15,000 for the Autism Society of Alabama, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving services for those affected by autism in Alabama through education and advocacy.
