Assistance League of Birmingham® celebrated 33 years of community service with the Tailgate Ball held at Vestavia Country Club. The Ball benefited the Assistance League’s three philanthropic programs. Primetime Treasures, a unique consignment shop, has returned more than $3.6 million to Alabama craftsmen from the sale of their hand-crafted goods. Operation School Bell® has clothed more than 20,000 children in need since 1985, and Operation literacy offers one-on-one tutoring to improve reading skills.
