Birmingham’s young professionals gathered to network for a cause at the Friends of St. Jude event “Rooftop at the Redmont.” Guests enjoyed the spring weather and a view of Birmingham’s skyline, along with a variety of appetizers and some tasty pale ale from Good People Brewing Company. DJ Hartman King set a modern and urban tone for the event, spinning tunes with his combination of chill and techno music. This was the first event at the historic Redmont Hotel showcasing their recent conversion of the penthouse into a rooftop bar. Hosted by the new group Friends of St. Jude (“FOSJ”), the event provided a forum for young professionals to socialize and to raise awareness and funds for the life-saving research and treatment done at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a hospital dedicated to curing childhood cancer.
