Hand-In-Paw kicked off preparations for its 2009 Picasso Pets Animal Art Auction with a party at the Mountain Brook home of Lynn and Benny LaRussa. The popular auction is scheduled this year for August 15 at the Cahaba Grand.
Guests at the kickoff party mingled under the stars in the LaRussas’ beautiful courtyard, enjoying such gourmet treats as chicken pesto quesadillas and goat cheese crostini with fig preserves and prosciutto drizzled with balsamic syrup. Kimberly Brock and her staff from Bitty’s Back Porch provided the opulent garden table display and hors d’oeuvres
