The Rotaract Club of Birmingham had their annual Masquerade Ball on Saturday, March 19th at the Alys Stephens Center. The event was a huge success drawing in over 500 young professionals dressed in black tie and formal gowns. Each guest enjoyed a the wonderful music by Rick Carter and the League of Legendary Artists, a great silent auction, light hors d’oeuvres by Kathy G Catering, wine and beer. This year’s event raised over $60,000 for The Rotaract Club of Birmingham’s Foundation, which supports various service initiatives within the community including Ready 2 Read. Next year’s event will take place on March 24th, 2012.
