There’s No Place Like the ‘Ham
Guests were treated to Wii Bowling and Guitar Hero on big screen TVs, courtesy of JAMM Entertainment Services. Hard-working young professional muscles were relaxed with massage kindly provided by Pamela Josey Parsons of Intuitive Touch Bodywork and Cynthia J. Harris of Birmingham Knead Therapeutic Massage. The event featured “Get-to-know Bingo”, an ice-breaker activity; winners were treated to stay-cation prizes from Birmingham landmarks including the Birmingham Museum of Art, the Birmingham Zoo, Alabama Ballet, Dreamland BBQ, the Tutwiler Hotel, the Birmingham Civil Rights Museum, the McWane Center, and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Attendees were addressed by Elizabeth McMahon Griffith, PhD, a local expert on autism at UAB.
