The 9th annual Night of Hope Gala benefiting the Alabama Chapter for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation was held at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center on Saturday, April 24th. This event was a night of celebration for many of JDRF families and friends. The theme was “Cirque du Cure.” Some of the event highlights included a cocktail reception, silent and live auction, a seated dinner and Cirque performers. International diabetes advocate and Former Miss America (1999) Nicole Johnson was the celebrity guest speaker. Over the last eight years, the Alabama Chapter Night of Hope Gala has raised nearly $5 million for diabetes research.
