Realty South and B.L. Harbert were the Iron Bowl Party lead sponsors. Dr. Jay Gogue, President Auburn Un. And Dr. Robert Witt, Pres. Un. Of Alabama served as Honorary Event Chairmen. They, along with their wives, greeted guests and thanked the crowd for supporting the efforts of the Reed Foundation. Surprising avid Alabama and Auburn football fans were the appearance of the Auburn and Alabama cheerleaders, Big Al and Aubie. Both groups filled the room with excitement when they began their school cheers. Aubie and Big Al mingled with the guests and signed autographs. Over 100 unique auction items were up for bid, including the traditional Iron Bowl Package, which consisted of 8 tickets to the Iron Bowl game, limo service to and from Auburn and tailgate party food. Katherine McRee and Susan Day were the high bidders for the package!!
