Derby for Duchenne was held at the Matt Jones Gallery, an art gallery with 100’s of pieces of beautifully placed art, beautifully stained concrete floors complimenting a rustic warehouse ceiling, and featuring a 22-foot Brazilian redwood bar and stage. Floral arrangements of elegant red roses, fitting with the Kentucky Derby theme, were provided by Norton’s Florist. Guests enjoyed an evening of jazz music, fine food and libations, authentic mint juleps provided by Dram Whiskey Bar, and a silent auction featuring: a New Orleans Saints package including a football signed by the entire team, a night stay at the Windsor Court Hotel, and 2 tickets to a home game; Sports Illustrated cover signed by players from Alabama Crimson Tide; and several beach condo rentals!
