Friends of St. Jude culminated their calendar year with the Building Blocks Ball, a gala benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Guests enjoyed great weather and great views while partying on the patio at the Highlands Golf Course Clubhouse, amidst music from Big Daddy’s New Band. Birmingham’s best restaurants — including Gianmarcos; Saw’s BBQ; Ocean; Avo/Dram; Taziki’s; and Trattoria Centrale — provided their signature dishes for the event. Guests also enjoyed a wide array of beverages and silent auction items. The event, which hosted the city’s top young professionals, was sponsored by CBS 42, 102.5 The Bull, Bradley Arant Boult & Cummings, BBVA Compass, Wachovia, Red Mountain Rovers, and J. Smith Lanier & Co.
