The Blues Ball is the first major fundraising event held by the Friends of St. Jude (“FOSJ”), which is a group of Birmingham-based young professionals dedicated to the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the fight against childhood cancer. The evening was a huge success, as guests enjoyed the blues music of Big Daddy’s New Band, along with hearty hors d’oeuvers from Jim n’ Nicks and beverages from Birmingham Beverage Company and International Wines. Guests took home party favors and items from the silent auction, which featured a wide range of art work, sports paraphernalia, and products and services from the metro-Birmingham area.
