Planned Parenthood of Alabama, Inc. created a buzz during its 1st Annual Birds & Bees Bash fundraiser. Guests mingled and sipped on wine as they bid on silent auction items that included birdhouses painted by local artists and members of the community. This event featured both a silent and live auction with auctioneer Ken Jackson. Items featured in the auctions included fine dining packages at Ocean, culinary lessons with Chef Clif Holt at Little Savannah, and the highlight of the auction – “Owl On A Limb,” a bronze statue by Frank Fleming.
Sponsors for the evening included Jim and Jeanne Alexander, Lydia Cheney and Jim Sokol, Carolyn Frohsin, and Dr. Lanning and Ricki Kline.
